SG Update

Sorry it's been awhile since the last news update (almost a month), everyone, but I've been kinda busy lately, and there hasn't been much SG news to type an entire
article on.
Well then, as you may have noticed, our base was finally upgraded, and we're well into 600k of prestige already! Our next upgrade will probably be a larger workshop, so we can place an advanced worktable, which, in turn, allows us to
place more items. There will also be general decorating going on throughout the base, such as I've been doing with our infirmary (which is startin' to look pretty cool).
After the workshops, our next major upgrade will probably be some of the new stuff being released in Issue 7 (see article here). Those buffing rooms sound pretty cool, as well as the storage areas. Being able to access everyone's salvage at
once would be excellent for creating items in the workshops, as well as
enhancements for those short on Influence! Plus, it'll be cool to have
JSF banners and icons hanging all over the place.
I'd also like to touch on the fact that lately there has been a drop in SG activity. It's been almost a month since we had a good turnout for our weekly Siren's Call Patrol, and at the last SG pictures we only had ten people show, four of them
late. Not only have we been inactive lately, though, but our roster has declined slightly, especially with Celt Mage retiring from Paragon City (check the forums for his thread). I want to push for more activity, as well as more recruiting, in the future, and right now! But remember, everyone, don't just invite anyone into the JSF. We are an elite bunch (*pauses for laughter*), and thus we kinda want to keep the average scum out.
Also, I'd like to remind you all that anyone can hold an SG event. Just tell me or ShockWave the date, time, and a short description of your event and we'll place it in the in game MoTD, as well as under the site's event list. A couple members have been asking if we could hold lower level taskforces as SG events, and I think that sounds like an excellent idea! Many people still need those badges, and it would be an easy way to rush a few of our lower level members through their teens and twenties. I was kind of thinking that we could hold one TF every week or two, and go up through all of them, starting with Positron's TF (the lowest level one I could think of). This would be a good way to up SG activity, membership, and community. Plus, who couldn't use some extra experience and influence?
