Any prestige earned during Saturday, October 28th and November 11th will be paid in influence! The person who earns the most prestige on a single character will receive double influence than the amount of prestige they have earned, and the second and third most prestige earned will receive 1.5 times the amount of prestige they have earned.
What does this mean? Any prestige earned during the start and end dates will be given to you in influence, meaning that if you earn 400,000 prestige, you get 400,000 influence! Plus, if you if you happen to have earned the most prestige at 400,000, you'll receive double that, meaning you'll get 800,000 influence!
If you got second or third highest at 400,000, you'll receive 1.5 times that, meaning you'll get 600,000 influence!
And no matter how little prestige, you'll come out ahead! Only earn, say, 50,000 prestige during all that time? That's still 50,000 influence going into your pocket!
Plus, during the event, you'll having access the Justice Strike Force's base, which contains teleport pads to eight different zones, two functional buff-machines, inspiration and enhancement storage, and a medical center! Plus, as the event goes on and the JSF's prestige stores grow, the base will expand, meaning even more conveniences will be built as you play! You'll also have the benefit of talking with many of the members of the Justice Strike Force and its coalitions, which makes for easier teaming and a handy knowledge-base. Plus, you'll have the satisfaction that for every prestige you earn that's another wad of influence going into your pocket!
Tell your friends, invite them to the Justice Strike Force, and join the event in which everyone wins!
Anyone in the Justice Strike Force, new member, old member, or joining after the event has started will receive influence for any prestige earned between and on the dates of October 28, 2006 and November 11, 2006. However, if a character quits the Justice Strike Force before the event is over they will not receive any influence for their prestige, and will be disqualified from the prestige-earned contest. Prestige earned prior to October 28, 2006 or after November 11, 2006 will not count toward the influence given at the end of the event; prestige counts will be taken on October 27, 2006 and November 12, 2006, and periodically during the event for statistical purposes. All prestige earned from a single person (even if prestige is split across multiple characters) will be totaled and awarded to a single character, after which it is their problem to split it up among their alternative characters. Leaders of the Justice Strike Force are not permitted to participate in the event or contest.

This Is Halloween!!

Everybody scream. Everybody SCREAM!!
Anyway, the Halloween event is now live.
What is it you ask? Well, for the next week or so, you can trick-or-treat in Paragon City and the Rogue Isles. To t-o-t, simply "knock" on a door. Some doors don't work, likes ones that have an inside, such as stores or city hall. Once knocked, you'll either be tricked with monsters to fight, or treated with a random gift (like and inspiration).
Also, some of you may have noticed there is a 5th costume slot. Well, you can unlock it through t-o-ting (or so I've heard). For heroes, the contact is Annah in Croatoa which is off the green line. For villains the contact is Granny Bedlam in Nerva Arch. Those two will ask you for one: Statesman's Mask, one Recluse's Helmet, Back Alley Brawler's Gloves and a Hamidon costume.
Also, note that you can only t-o-t in zones of your range. 5-10 in Kings Row, 11-20 in Skyway and Steel, 20-30 in IP and Talos, 30-40 in Brickstown and Founder's Falls, and 40+ in Peregrine. Same for the Villains.
Happy Halloween to all you Justice Strike Forcers!!
*starts humming the Nightmare Before Christmas theme and goes a trick-or-treating*

Remember everyone, we have super group pictures tomorrow at 7:30 PM EST. We'll meet in the Hollows, but if everyone who comes has City of Villains, I think we'll go ahead and take them in the base.
Hope to see everyone there!
