Sweet New Website

"Whoa," you're probably thinking, "This looks pretty sweet." And yes, yes it does.
After about a month of using most of my free time messing around with different website designs and creating a ton of images, we now have a brand new official Justice Strike Force website! This is unlike anything we've had in the past, as it is a "real," HTML-using website (no more crazy wiki format!). With this new site means less for you and me to update, and more accurate, detailed information as a whole.
So what's so great about the new site? Besides the obvious aesthetic appeal, we now have a live City of Heroes server status display, a sortable roster table, and much, much more in-depth "join" section for drawing in new recruits! Sweet images abound throughout the site, nearly all of them created by myself or the Green Warden. The site has also been made to look the same across multiple resolutions. However, one major draw back of the new site is that it is basically only viewable in the Firefox browser. Making the site IE compatible is something I plan to work on in the future, but really guys, it's just an inferior browser next to Firefox. It's 'bout time ya'll switched over from the dark side, anyway.
"Yeah it's great and all, but where'd my member page go?!" Do not worry! I am working on creating a new member page design for use on the new site, and once I get the layout, I'll port over any existing member pages from the old wiki, including merit badges and whatnot. If you would like a new member page, or have not had one in the past, just email me four or fewer screenshots of your character and a backstory (at Dark_Insanity@thejsf.com), and I'll try to get everything set up as soon as I can!
So I'm pretty proud of how the new site has turned out so far. If you have any suggestions, questions, or comments, please post 'em on the forums (they are still the same). My immediate plans for improving the site would be, first off, making it IE-compatible, reintroducing member pages and the merit badge system, and making a more detailed events section. I also may, eventually, start porting over all of our past news articles and event details from past sites, just so we can have a bit more history on our new site.
Speaking of events, I know it's been a while since we've really had a JSF event night. A lot of us have just been really busy out there in the real world lately, and the SG has kind of fallen into a short period of slightly-less-activity-than-usual. Hopefully we'll pop out of it soon enough, though. If you got any suggestions for an event, shout it out on the forums or bring it up sometime in-game!
Well, hopefully everyone likes the new site, and I'll get to work on those last few features!
